I’m driving home from work and I see a girl pushing her car on the 91 freeway. I’m exiting the 15 to the 91 so I pull over and reverse to where she is…another car pulled off to tell me to call highway patrol. I’m going to get ran over crossing the 15 exit lane. He just drives off. Really? I run across the lane to where the 91 is at and we push it over a lane to the side of the road. She has no money and the car is out of gas. She’s telling me she doesn’t want to waste my time someone is coming. I leave and drive to the gas station buy a 1 gallon gas container. I loop around to the 15 freeway to get where she is parked. She doesn’t even notice me walking over to her. She is just crying hard in the passenger side. I ask her, “if she’s ok”. She’s so surprised and said, “I can’t believe you came back. You’re a stranger and you’re the only person that helped me. No one was going to come for me”. I told her, “it doesn’t matter where you get the help from just as long as you do”. I’m putting the gas in her tank and she’s telling me her story. She has all her belongings in the car and she is trying to give me her dvd. I refuse the request. I only have 7 bucks on me and I give it to her so she could get more gas. I get in my car and I see her walking towards my car. I get out and her car won’t start. I had to give her a jump. The smile on her face was awesome. I made someone’s day just a little bit better. There is good people in the world. Never give up on people. We all have the ability for kindness.
